Leever Cancer Center Offers Virtual Look Good Feel Better Workshops and Free Makeup Kit

At the Leever Cancer Center, we are taking the highest level of precautions to ensure the health and safety of our patients, staff, and the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In accordance with those precautions, one of the decisions we have made is to cancel the in-person Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) workshops that were scheduled to be held in July and August at the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center.

The Look Good Feel Better workshops have helped countless women deal with some of the physical issues, such as hair and skin changes, associated with cancer and chemotherapy by providing complimentary lessons on cosmetics, skincare, wigs and head coverings, nail care and styling.

The Look Good Feel Better workshops are one of the most popular events offered at the Leever Cancer Center and many attendees leave feeling really good after having spent time taking care of their appearance, so we are pleased to announce that our patients will have access to virtual Look Good Feel Better Workshops.

Attendees who register online to attend a virtual Look Good Feel Better workshop will receive a complimentary LGFB Makeup Kit that they can use during virtual skin care and makeup workshops. The kits will be mailed to each attendee’s home.

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and will resume in-person Look Good Feel Better workshops at the Leever Cancer Center as soon as it is safe to do so.
